We're looking forward to our wedding ceremony in Toronto!Food and MarriageWe've decided to hold our wedding ceremony and reception at Herbs Restaurant. Herbs is just around the corner from where we live and we think it is one of the best restaurants in Toronto. There's no better way to follow the exchange of vows than with the world's best mushroom soup. Here's more information about Herbs: www.herbsrestaurant.com. You can also find directions and a few photos of the room.Where to Stay and What to DoIf you're from out of town, there's a hotel close to our home and the place of our reception. Glen Grove Suites is only a five minute walk away from both locations. Take a look at some photos of the hotel and get directions and a map here. If you prefer to say somewhere else, you can find a list of of hotels on Toronto.com.There are all kinds of things to do and see in Toronto. You can find overviews on Toronto.com and Toronto.ca. If you're staying for more than just a couple days, you may want to check out other corners of beautiful Ontario. We will add a few tips on this page later on. The Church and the CastleOur church wedding takes place in Schweinschied, the home village of Martin's father. The reception will be held in the restaurant on castle Altenbaumburg near Bad Kreuznach. Bad Kreuznach is a small town located to the south-west of Frankfurt am Main. It's a 45 minute drive from Frankfurt International Airport to Bad Kreuznach. There's also a direct train connection from the Airport to Bad Kreuznach. We'll post more information on the Germany after our Canadian wedding.
